The past few weeks have been devastating for the southeastern United States, especially so in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee.

Hurricane Helene hit the Florida coast and blasted the region with storms that caused severe flooding, threatening the integrity of dams in its path. Entire cities were decimated and millions remain without power throughout the area as relief efforts continue.

But this is a strong area of the country. On Saturday during Week 6’s matchup between NC State and Wake Forest, each school’s marching bands came together to perform ‘Amazing Grace’ as a tribute to those in Western NC affected by the devastation.

This is what it’s all about, folks. Check it out below:

NC State and Wake Forest played quite the game, too. The Demon Deacons came out on top in what was a back-and-forth contest that amassed just under 800 combined yards. Wake Forest improved to 2-3 on the year with the 34-30 win over the Wolfpack on Saturday, their first ACC win of the season.
