Notre Dame AD Jack Swarbrick reportedly wants 2020 season delayed

There has been plenty of speculation about if or when the 2020 college football season will start. Some think it will start on time. Some conferences are delaying until spring.
Another option would be to delay the season a couple of weeks, allowing for more time to figure out conference-only or other types of schedules.
During an ESPN special on Tuesday night, reporter Heather Dinich revealed that Notre Dame AD Jack Swarbrick is one who would like to see a delay:

There are still a few weeks before the 2020 season is set to kick off in September, but time is running short.
For Swarbrick and the Irish, it could be beneficial to have more time to sort out a schedule. Will he get his reported wish?
