The Pac-12 currently sits at 6 schools moving forward: Oregon State, Washington State, Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State and Colorado State. The conference of the states, if you will. In order to be considered an FBS conference the Pac-12 would need to add 2 more entities, hence the talk surrounding Utah State and UNLV.
According to Ross Dellenger, UTSA and Air Force are also considered possible additions for the Pac-12. Memphis, Tulane and USF, though not as geographically consistent, have been floated as possibilities as well.
Also in this story from yesterday is a list of Pac-12 schools outside of Memphis/Tulane/USF that have received or are expected to receive the league’s expansion presentation.
They include: UTSA, UNLV, Air Force and Utah State.https://t.co/XFJAsB1Aas

The additions of Utah State and UNLV, if that is truly where the Pac-12 is aiming their efforts, would be smart. Utah State is one of the Mountain West’s top markets, and UNLV would bring the Pac-12 the city of Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium. Not to mention, the Runnin Rebels are on the up and up having started the season 3-0 with wins over Houston and Kansas to start the year.
