Randy Moss fist pumps, thanks family and coaches after Hall of Fame announcement
Randy Moss is one of the most accomplished wide receivers in football history. The receiver was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018 and received another honor on Sunday.
Moss was finally inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. The receiver was surprised with the honor as he received the news during ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown.”

Moss was handed the honorary football by co-host Tedy Bruschi.
“I want to send a shoutout to, man, first and foremost, my wife and my kids, all of my teammates at Marshall, my coaches, Marshall University, Go Herd, man,” Moss declared.
The receiver starred for the Herd from 1996-97 and was drafted in the 1st round of the 1998 NFL Draft. At Marshall, Moss was the centerpiece of an explosive offense. The receiver came down with 90 catches for 1,647 yards and 25 touchdowns in 1997.
Moss won several awards for his legendary 1997 season. The receiver won the Fred Biletnikoff Award, was a unanimous All-American, the MAC’s Most Valuable Player, and the MAC’s Offensive Player of the Year.
Moss still holds the Marshall all-time record for career touchdowns with 53.
