Trent Dilfer is firmly on the hot seat after Week 7, if he wasn’t already.

Dilfer’s UAB Blazers were dominated for the 3rd-straight week on Saturday, falling to Army 44-10. The team has not won since a Week 1 victory over FCS Alcorn State. Since then, the team has been outscored 225 to 81 and now sits at 1-5.

Last season, Dilfer’s 1st at the helm, didn’t go much better as the team finished 4-8. This was after the team went to a bowl game in the previous 2 seasons.

Now, after the blowout at Army, fans have seen enough of Dilfer as UAB’s head man. Fans and media members flocked to social media after the loss to give their takes on the state of the program.

The Blazers will have another chance to get a win in Week 8 against South Florida. Whether or not Dilfer will be the coach for that game, however, is anybody’s guess.
