UCF will be embracing the race to space tonight against Temple.
The Knight will debut their “Mission VI” space-themed uniforms and the theme doesn’t just lend itself to the uniforms, but the entire stadium presentation.
UCF was founded to develop the next generation of personnel for the U.S. space program.
Nearly 1/3 of the employees at Kennedy Space Center are UCF alumni.
Tonight, the Knights honor their roots by rebranding themselves as:

Those helmets are pretty slick. And the end zone/field artwork also represents the space theme.

This theme would probably be a little too much week in and week out, but as a one-off thing it’s pretty fun.
