Our Favorite Dabble Picks Today (April 15, 2025)
For Tuesday, April 15, 2025, I’m going with a trio of picks from Night 1 of the play-in tournament in the NBA. First, in the Magic-Hawks game, Orlando’s Paolo Banchero has absolutely dominated Atlanta this year. I like him to score 31+ points tonight. On the other side of that game, I like NBA assists leader Trae Young to be at his best, too, dishing out 11 or more dimes. And finally, games like tonight are why the Warriors got Jimmy Butler from the Heat. I like the Golden State forward to combine for 36+ points+rebounds+assists in the Western Conference 7/8 game against the Grizzlies.
Where is Dabble Fantasy legal?
Our Dabble promo code is live and legal in 26 U.S. states, as well as Washington DC. The states where Daily Fantasy Sports players can access real-money picks contests in the Dabble Fantasy Sports app are:
- Alaska, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

The Dabble Fantasy App
Now that we’ve talked about the dabble fantasy promo code, let’s talk a bit about the Dabble app itself. After all, your favorite DFS platform has got to have a killer app. It’s where you spend your time. The best fantasy platforms have apps that are both reliable and well functioning, give lots of options that are easy to navigate, but are also fun and enjoyable. The fantasy app, in one sense, is your companion during sports viewing and participation. It’s gotta be an enjoyable companion.
First Impressions of the Dabble app
First impressions matter, especially in a competitive environment like daily fantasy. If the app doesn’t grab you or give a first impression, it’s not likely you’re going to stick around. The good news is that the Dabble app is extremely impressive with respect to first impressions. And it’s often the little things that drive this. Allow me to explain in a bit more detail:
- The first thing worth noting is that the app is just, well, snappy. It loads quickly, it’s responsive and it’s quick. There’s nothing worse than an app that is slow or lags when you use it. If I’m going to use this app every day, it’s got to be snappy for me. Dabble checks this box.
- User onboarding. In one sense, registering and signing up as a new user on any app or platform is essentially the worst part of the entire experience with the app (at least it should be!). So anything that an app can do to make this easier, smoother and quicker is not only a huge plus for the user, but it shows that the company is really thoughtful about the little things and cares about the entire user experience. Here Dabble really shines. For example, little things like when creating your account and having to enter your address. It doesn’t make you enter your entire address. It has an auto-recommended address as you fill and you can just select the correct option. Furthermore, quick verification of the phone number. It’s really smooth. I can’t tell you how many apps I’ve used where the user onboarding experience is a total nightmare. Dabble brings you along with kid gloves and makes you excited to be there.
Making Picks on the Dabble app
When making picks and playing on Dabble, I’ve noticed a few specifics worth mentioning to potential Dabble players.
- The “copy slip” functionality is really impressive and a core feature of the app itself. Not only is it fun and useful, but it drives the social behavior of the app and is therefore really central to the Dabble experience.
- I really like how when you’re viewing the potential picks for the games how it shows you the last 5 results for that particular statistical category. For example, if you have the option to pick Steph Curry higher or lower than 26.5 points, it will also show you right there under his name his last 5 scoring totals (e.g. something like 15 – 28 – 24 – 20 – 29). This is very well done.
- The only negative I saw was on the live tracking of picks as games are going on. The live interface is really nice, but I saw some bugs around the live updating of data and information. Occasionally the live stats froze, and I’d have to go into another app to get the latest stats (e.g. Steph Curry’s points). That’s obviously not ideal, and I’m guessing the Dabble team is hard at work to clean that up.
- In a similar way, I’ve noticed a few times that the countdown of minutes until the next game starts can be wrong. For instance, one morning I fired up the Dabble app and went to the NBA section and it still had the previous night’s games listed with a negative number minutes until the game starts. This is an obvious bug that I imagine gets cleaned up.
For such an overall impressive app, there are a few minor things like the live updates that are buggy, but when they are cleaned up by the Dabble team, this will easily be one of the best DFS apps on the market. I don’t think these things should discourage anyone from trying out Dabble as the app and overall experience are very strong.
What I Like Best About Dabble
Dabble takes all of the best things from the world of Daily Fantasy Sports and combines them under one roof. The social functionality is the best I’ve ever seen out of a DFS app. There are chat threads for each sport. You can chat with other users as you try to craft the perfect contest. But even better, you can also see what sorts of contests other users are playing.
When I first signed up, my boss, Kevin Duffey, had already signed up. I registered for my account using his referral link to kick a bit of bonus cash his way. He had already entered a few contests for that night’s NBA action. I scanned through his entries on his profile and found one I liked. It involved 3-point attempts from San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama and Milwaukee’s Damian Lillard.
If you like the DFS contest one of your friends has crafted, Dabble makes it very easy to copy that contest. With just a couple of button taps, I was riding with Kevin on that night’s NBA contest.
As it turns out, I picked the wrong contest to copy, as neither of the NBA stars reached their projected 3-point attempts:

Since you get $25 in bonus cash when you sign up, it was no harm, no foul. I ventured out on my own for my second entry and found some luck in the College Football Playoff. I scored my first contest victory during the Notre Dame-Penn State game:

I also managed to score a couple of wins in the NBA and English Premier League worlds. You’ll notice I prefer to play contests that have 2-3 entries, with 3x-6x multipliers. You can craft entries that go up to 1000x multipliers, but those are a bit too risky and don’t win nearly enough for my liking. I generally like to keep my contests to 10x or less, as you can see from my 2 wins below:

When it comes to a big game, I like to use the Dabble Fantasy app social functions to see what other users are doing. For the College Football Playoff National Championship Game between Notre Dame and Ohio State, there were hundreds of Dabble players sharing their entries, trying to get others to copy them for the night’s big game.
Here’s a look at what one of the contests in the college football thread looked like ahead of the Notre Dame-Ohio State battle:

You can find a general “all contests” tab on the social feed, but you can also specify by your favorite sport. There are feeds for NBA, NFL, NHL, soccer, college basketball, college football, cricket and tennis during the winter months. Spring will surely add MLB functionality to the offerings. There truly is something for everyone when it comes to the Dabble Fantasy social feeds.
No other Daily Fantasy Sports app puts as much work into its social offerings as the Dabble app, and that’s what makes this new entrant into the DFS space so exciting.
Dabble Fantasy Deposit Methods
Dabble features 3 deposit methods you can use to add funds to your account. The first 2 are pretty common — debit and credit cards. You can use your debit card of Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
You can also use Apple Pay to add to your bankroll on Dabble. The minimum deposit amount is $5.
You can have a maximum of 2 bank cards connected to your Dabble app account. But managing your cards is easy. You can add and remove cards as needed when cards expire or you change banks.
Dabble does not accept gift cards or prepaid cards as deposit methods.
How to withdraw money from Dabble Fantasy
Right now, the only way to withdraw your winnings from Dabble Fantasy is to connect your bank account to the app. When you do initiate the withdrawal process, though, Dabble takes you through every step of the process, which is very helpful.
I was lucky enough to win a couple of contests in my early days of using the Dabble app and decided to make a withdrawal from my account. I connected my personal bank account and started the process.
Dabble sent me email and push notifications explaining what step of the process I was on and how long it would take until the winnings reached my account. I was never left wondering where my money was, which is a nice touch from the Dabble user experience team.
One thing I would like to see in the future is more withdrawal methods. I generally like to use PayPal for my Daily Fantasy Sports funds. Being able to deposit and withdraw through PayPal would be nice. I’d also like to be able to withdraw funds directly to the debit card I used to add money to my account.
