One year after being selected in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, former Florida running back Kelvin Taylor is expected to soon be looking for his third NFL team.

This according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, who reports that Taylor has been released by the Seahawks. After rushing for 2,108 yards and 23 touchdowns for the Gators in only three seasons of play, Taylor landed in the NFL after being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners never gave Taylor an opportunity to see the field in the regular season before releasing him in November. Seattle picked him up, however, he failed to reach the field for the Seahawks, too.

A Florida legacy, Kelvin is the son of all-time great Gator running back Fred Taylor. The Seahawks selected a running back in the latest draft, former Oklahoma State back Christopher Carson in Round 7, which may have driven the decision to release Taylor.
