One day after the former Florida running back was waived by the Washington Redskins, the Indianapolis Colts claimed him on Sunday. Jones is now on a team where Frank Gore is a key running back.

Jones had slipped down the depth chart in Washington after the Redskins drafted him in 2015 with the 95th overall pick. In two seasons, he’s rushed for 950 yards and six touchdowns. Fumbling was one reason Jones fell out of favor in Washington, as he has eight fumbles in two seasons.
