LOOK: Florida announces it will wear alternate helmets against Georgia

A neutral-site rivalry game raises some intriguing uniform opportunities. For Florida-Georgia, we’ve seen occasional alternate uniforms over the years as well as both teams sporting home colors in recent meetings.

The Gators are shaking things up in Jacksonville this year. The official Twitter accounts of the football team and equipment staff unveiled white helmets with a new look.

Check out the tweets below:

Florida has sported white helmets occasionally in the 2015-17 seasons. Those helmets, seen below, featured the classic “Gators” script on one side with an “F” logo on the other. The above tweets show the script on both sides.
