Social media is deeply divided over Florida’s throwback uniforms

On what was planned to be Florida’s Homecoming game in a normal season, the Gators are wearing throwback uniforms against Missouri on Saturday night.
The jerseys are the same as UF wore last year against Auburn. This year, however, the Gators switched from a white helmet to a rare blue helmet.
The helmets looked dangerously close to being banished forever as Dan Mullen’s offense showed some rust, getting off to a slow start, including a pick-6 for Mizzou’s only first-half score. Luckily for the blue-helmet lovers, the Gators appear to have woken up, scoring a pair of touchdowns late in the second quarter.
