WATCH: Emmitt Smith’s son EJ starting to showcase talent reminiscent of his father

Like father like son? It’s starting to look that way for Dallas Jesuit sophomore receiver EJ Smith.
Smith is the son of legendary Florida Gator and Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith. While he only holds one scholarship offer at the moment, from Jackson State, Smith has started to receive interest from both Florida and Arkansas.
While his connection to Florida is obvious, it’s worth noting that his sister Rheagan is on scholarship at Texas A&M for soccer. So it appears the Smith family is open to all college opportunities.
Check out Smith’s freshman season highlights, in which he runs out of the backfield, lines up out wide and even returns kicks. There’s clearly potential for him to grow into an elite prospect by the time his senior season rolls around.
