WATCH: Footage showing Florida players’ recent airsoft gun incident released

Back in May, an incident involving some important Florida players, another group of people and airsoft guns occurred on campus.
Coach Dan Mullen has already addressed the situation, and no police charges were filed, though there could still be some university discipline handed down.
On Monday, video of the incident — involving TE C’yontai Lewis, WR Kadarius Toney, QB Emory Jones and others — was released by police, and as you can see, it looked much more serious than it really was:
Police released this video to @TB_Times of the #Gators air gun incident from May. You can see the weapons, which look like assault rifles. pic.twitter.com/hXSgMVw7Ym

The way the airsoft gun looks, it would have been easy for police to think it was a real assault rifle.
Whether or not seeing the video changes Mullen or the university’s minds on discipline remains to be seen, but it’s certainly something the Gators will want to avoid moving forward.
