ESPN’s College GameDay is in Sanford Stadium ahead of the showdown between Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs and Gus Malzahn’s Auburn Tigers, the show’s fifth visit to Athens. One of Smart’s former Bulldog teammates will be joining the GameDay crew as Saturday’s celebrity guest picker.

Omari Hardwick, famous for his role as James “Ghost” St. Patrick on the Starz show Power, will pick the slate of Saturday college football games along with Lee Corso (contributing remotely) and company. Hardwick, from Decatur, Georgia, was a teammate of Smart’s on the UGA football team, lettering in 1995.

Georgia is 2-2 when hosting GameDay, including a six-point win over Notre Dame last year. Corso is 3-0 on headgear picks, looking to start the year 4-0 for the first time since 2014.
