The former Georgia quarterback announced last month, just 1 day after entering the transfer portal, that he would be joining Miami and Mario Cristobal’s Hurricanes. Beck reportedly got a $4 million offer to leave Athens and join the Hurricanes.
A 5-year man and 2-year starter at Georgia, Beck threw for 7,912 yards and 58 touchdowns. He helped the Bulldogs to a 24-3 record as a starter, 2 appearances in the SEC Championship Game, and a College Football Playoff appearance in 2024. Beck finished the 2024 season with 3,485 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 12 picks while completing 64.7% of his passes.
