Georgia’s shot at the SEC East was ruined with a Missouri win last Friday and to make things worse, the ‘Dawgs suffered a shocking overtime loss to their in-state rival Georgia Tech on the following day. Surprisingly, Georgia still sits two spots ahead of the SEC East champion Missouri Tigers.

The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a 9-3 record.

As a conference, the SEC boasts six schools in the latest CFP poll and Alabama, Oregon, TCU and Florida State occupy the top four playoff spots.
