Former Georgia offensive lineman Clay Webb has found a new home. Webb, who did not publicly announce a transfer destination, is now listed on the roster of the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.

With the transfer, Webb is back in his home state of Alabama. Out of Oxford High School, Webb was a 5-star recruit, ranked the No. 1 center and No. 26 prospect overall in the class of 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with UGA over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.

Webb saw limited playing time during his time in Athens. He played in 2 games in 2019 and 3 games in 2020. Webb reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal in April.
