Former Georgia WR Chris Conley has found his new home. The Jacksonville Jaguars announced the signing of the former Bulldogs standout Saturday.
Conley was drawn to the Jags by the opportunity to reunite with his former Kansas City Chiefs teammate Nick Foles. The Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Philadelphia Eagles signed a big new contract with Jacksonville at the start of free agency. The signings of Foles and Conley show that Jacksonville is looking to ramp up its passing attack for 2019.
“We actually talked about this day three years ago,” Conley told Jaguars reporter Ashlyn Sullivan. “You’re going to be a starting quarterback one day, and when you are, let’s make it happen.”
