Georgia coach Kirby Smart updated the status of running back Nick Chubb during his press conference Monday afternoon.
Chubb, who experienced an ankle injury during Saturday’s game against Ole Miss, will continue to rehab through the week before the Bulldogs have a definitive answer on his status for their upcoming game against Tennessee.
Smart on Chubb's ankle: "He's going to continue to rehab really hard. We won't know more until later in the week."

Chubb leads Georgia with 422 yards — fourth among SEC backs — and four touchdowns on 83 rushing attempts. The junior bounced back from a knee injury suffered during last year’s game against Tennessee, which forced him to miss the Bulldogs’ final seven games.
Smart revealed freshman Elijah Holyfield will likely see more playing time. The former four-star prospect has been limited to 27 yards on four rushing attempts in two appearances.
Kirby said getting Elijah Holyfield experience in game was valuable. Said he did a good job with second-half opportunity.
