Georgia has been recruiting at an elite level under Kirby Smart, and that looks like it will continue into the future.

On Monday night, the Bulldogs landed a commitment from a 4-star cornerback in the 2024 recruiting class — their first commitment of the cycle.

As you can see below, Antione Jackson, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, took to Twitter to announce he was committing to Georgia:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Jackson is the No. 6 cornerback in the class of 2024 and the No. 16 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

At this very early stage of the 2024 recruiting cycle, Jackson’s commitment gives the Bulldogs the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation and the No. 1 class in the SEC, per 247Sports.
