Georgia politician sends mass email to state’s legislature looking for UGA-Florida tickets
Georgia-Florida is always a hot ticket, but that’s especially the case this year with limited capacity stadiums.
It’s apparently tough enough to get in that Georgia state representative Matt Dollar’s office sent an email to the entire Georgia Legislature looking for a plug:
Meanwhile, state Rep. Matt Dollar – a Republican in a tight race for re-election in suburban Cobb County – sends the entire Georgia Legislature list-serv an important pre-Election Day question: Does anyone have Georgia-Florida tickets? #gapol pic.twitter.com/W6oAdXpKNc

That email was recalled by Dollar’s office, according to the screenshot above via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Greg Bluestein.
It’s possible Dollar is looking for some VIP access, but tickets are currently going for as low as $137 on Seat Geek.
Dollar is a UGA alum and has been serving in the Georgia House of Representatives since 2003.
The Bulldogs have won three straight games vs. the Gators and hold a 52-43-2 all-time advantage in the series.
Georgia and Florida will kick off in Jacksonville at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
