Georgia will introduce Boom, a 10-month old English Bulldog, as Uga XI on Saturday during the program’s spring game.
Georgia announced that news on Tuesday morning. Boom will succeed Uga X, who is also known as Que. Uga X is retiring as the Bulldogs’ winningest mascot in program history.

In addition to being the winningest mascot in program history, Uga X is 1 of just 2 Bulldogs in history to serve as the team’s mascot during a National Championship season. He has served as the team’s mascot since 2015.
Boom will take part in a “collaring” ceremony on Saturday prior to the start of the spring game. The ceremony is slated to begin at approximately 3:50 p.m.
G-Day is slated to kickoff at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
