Nick Chubb and Sony Michel will go down as one of the best RB duos in the history of college football.

The two stars of the Bulldogs have definitely had remarkable careers. Chubb has served as the starter for much of his time in a Georgia uniform, but it certainly doesn’t feel right to label Michel as a backup.

Chubb is No. 2 on the Bulldogs all-time list for rushing yards and rushing TDs behind legendary RB Herschel Walker. Walker and Chubb are the only RBs in program history to rush for more than 4,000 yards and 40 TDs.

While Michel trails both players by a wide margin, he ranks No. 3 on Georgia’s all-time rushing list. He has posted 3,334 rushing yards and 30 TDs in his career while serving as the second RB on the depth chart for much his time at Georgia.

Together, the duo has been unforgettable. Both joined the program in 2014 and have posted the second-most rushing yards of a RB duo in FBS history. The SEC Network shared a graphic of their remarkable accomplishment, and together they have rushed for nearly 8,000:

A national championship ring would certainly be a great crowning achievement for their remarkable careers. Georgia will take on Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl with a trip to the National Championship Game on the line. Kickoff is set for 5 pm EST New Year’s Day on ESPN.
