Nick Chubb, Sony Michel set FBS rushing record during Rose Bowl

Nick Chubb and Sony Michel will go down in history as one of the best RB combinations in the history of college football.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, Chubb and Michel have surpassed former SMU RBs Eric Dickerson and Craig James for the most rushing yards between teammates in FBS history. The duo of Dawgs have already rushed for 240 yards in the Rose Bowl which gives them 8,198 combined in their careers. The record held by Dickerson and James was 8,193.
These two groups of backs are the only FBS duos to rush for more than 8,000 yards in a career. Chubb and Michel are also playing for a shot at the national championship, a goal that both had in mind when deciding to return to Athens for their senior seasons.
Regardless of the outcome in the Rose Bowl, Michel and Chubb have produced consistently throughout their careers and will look to produce in the NFL next season.
