Longtime Georgia commit Max Wray has re-opened his recruitment, according to Barton Simmons of 247Sports.

It has been an eventful day for the Wray family, with Max and his little brother Jake visiting Alabama’s Nick Saban and Clemson’s Dabo Swinney following Max’s de-commitment earlier on Friday.

Max Wray, pictured on the left center, is 6-6, 287-pounds from Franklin, Tennessee, and he is rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He’s also rated as the No. 4 offensive tackle for the class of 2018.

The Bulldogs’ line has built some nice depth, as their 2017 class boasted three top-20 tackles, the No. 7-ranked guard, and the No. 2 JUCO tackle. Still, this one has to hurt a little extra given how long Wray was in the bag for the ‘Dawgs. He had been committed since March 2016.

However, it seems the trip to Alabama made Wray think twice about his commitment to Georgia.
