Sony Michel and Nick Chubb’s incredible first-half numbers highlight why UGA should stick to run game

Georgia should definitely stick to the run game in the second half of the Rose Bowl.
The Bulldogs headed to halftime facing a 31-17 deficit against Oklahoma after seeing the Sooners control much of the first half. Oklahoma was able to move the ball on the ground and through the air against the Dawgs defense, but Georgia compounded its defensive struggles with some questionable decision on the offensive side of the ball.
Senior RBs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel combined for 183 yards in the first half on just eight carries. The highlight of that stretch was a 75-yard TD run by Michel where he went virtually untouched. Incredibly, the duo gained 160 yards before contact in the first half.
