Stetson Bennett launches NIL merchandise off of response to Tennessee fans’ phone calls

Stetson Bennett’s phone number leaked not long after Georgia defeated Tennessee, 27-13 over the weekend and the quarterback received a huge wave of phone calls from Vols fans following the contest.
And his response to the whole deal could hardly have been any better.
Bennett launched NIL merchandise this week with shirts and jackets that read “call me” on the front of them. In the new era of college football where players can profit off of their own Name, Image and Likeness, players have the ability to get creative with their clapbacks.
Better luck next time, Vols fans,” the Tweet from The Players Trunk read. “Not even leaking our guy @StetsonIv phone number the night before the game could stop him and the Dawgs!”

Less than one year removed from Georgia’s most recent title game win, Bennett and the Bulldogs have a very real chance to repeat. The road to potentially doing just that continues with Saturday’s contest against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Davis Wade Stadium at 6 p.m. CT.
