Report: Former 5-star Georgia DL Trenton Thompson signs free agent deal with Browns

There were two big surprises for SEC underclassmen who went undrafted this weekend: Auburn’s Jeff Holland and Georgia’s Trenton Thompson.
Holland signed a free agent deal with the Broncos, while it took a few hours after the draft was over for Thompson to sign his deal.
According to ProFootballTalk, Thompson signed with the Cleveland Browns.
The Albany, Georgia, native is the former No. 1 overall prospect in the 2015 recruiting class. However, Thompson just never developed as the player everyone thought, and he certainly could have used another season in Athens.
The 6-foot-4, 309-pound Thompson absolutely has the upside, but does he have the makeup?
Take two: Georgia defensive lineman Trenton Thompson agreed to terms with the Browns per source.
