John Calipari provides latest injury update for TyTy Washington and Sahvir Wheeler

John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats picked up a big 90-81 win over a ranked Alabama team on Saturday, despite playing without starting guards Sahvir Wheeler and TyTy Washington.
Those 2 have been banged up at various times this season, and the Wildcats aren’t the same team without them, Saturday’s win aside.
So, ahead of Wednesday’s home game against LSU, Coach Cal provided an update on the duo. Calipari said neither guard practiced on Monday and he’s unsure if they’ll be ready by Wednesday:
Kentucky starting guards Sahvir Wheeler and TyTy Washington did not practice today, Calipari said. They're considered "day to day."

The Wildcats could potentially still beat the Tigers without Wheeler or Washington, but they’d obviously have a much better chance if one or both of them are healthy.
LSU won the game earlier this year in Baton Rouge when Wheeler was knocked out of the game on a hard screen and Washington was dealing with cramping issues. We’ll see what happens this time around.
