Kentucky beats out Tennessee, South Carolina and Michigan State for Georgia prospect

Kentucky beat out two division rivals and Michigan State for a Top-40 Georgia prospect.
Three-star CB Yusuf Corker, a product of Woodland High School (Stockbridge, Ga.), announced his pledge to the Wildcats over Tennessee and South Carolina on Monday, also his birthday. Heading into his announcement, Corker was perceived to be a leaning toward picking between the Vols and Gamecocks.

It’s safe to say Kentucky’s Christmas has lingered a day longer this year.
Corker is commitment No. 22 for Kentucky’s 2017 class, which is ranked No. 23 nationally by the 247Sports Composite. The site rates Corker as the No. 38 cornerback and No. 34 Georgia recruit of the class.
