TyTy Washington, Kentucky’s standout freshman, was injured on Saturday, rolling his ankle in the loss at Auburn.
He has become a key player for the Wildcats this year, so his absence will hurt Kentucky moving forward.
How long will he be out? According to KSR’s Jack Pilgrim, Washington won’t be ready to play for Tuesday night’s home game against Mississippi State:
TyTy Washington will not play tonight vs. Mississippi State, a source close to the freshman guard told KSR.@DraftExpress first with the news.

Washington has averaged 13.6 points, 4.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game as a freshman so far this season. He’s in the mix to be a lottery pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Tuesday night’s game against the Bulldogs tips off at 9 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
