Brandon Harris will have some recovery ahead of him following an injury sustained at an unspecified point of the 2015 season.
According to a report by LSU beat writer Glenn Guilbeau, Harris needed what is being termed as a minor surgical procedure to repair a sports hernia.

Though Harris would not confirm that a sports hernia was the cause, Guilbeau had multiple sources that indicate that’s what was wrong.
Here is a snippet of Harris’ quote about the procedure:
“It’s something minor, and I have to go get it taken care of now that the season is over,” Harris said. “It’s nothing serious, but I’ve had it for a long time. It’s been nagging at me for a while. So, this is the perfect time to take care of it. It’s a minor procedure.”
Harris indicated a six-eight week recovery timetable, which should give him time to return for spring practice assuming it goes as planned.
