Brian Kelly faces quick backlash over loss of top prospect Bryce Underwood

Brian Kelly has had a tumultuous season with the LSU Tigers. The team started with a loss to USC in Week 1 but then reeled off 6 wins in a row and looked like a legitimate College Football Playoff contender.
Since starting 6-1, the Tigers have lost 3 straight games to SEC opponents. Now sitting at 6-4, the team hopes to finish with some positive momentum and prepare for an elite recruiting class in 2025.
However, that recruiting class took a major hit on Thursday. The nation’s top prospect, QB Bryce Underwood, officially flipped his commitment from LSU to Michigan.
