Washington Commanders radio announcers Bran Weinstein and London Fletcher had one of the radio calls of the 2024 NFL season on Jayden Daniels’ winning Hail Mary touchdown pass with no time remaining to beat the Chicago Bears.
Daniels delivered a moment that will live on not only in the end-of-season highlight reel, but in the memories of Commanders fans for years to come. And Weinstein and Fletcher, who spent 7 seasons with the Commanders, met the moment with an epic radio call.
Here’s video of the play overlayed by the call of Weinstein and Fletcher:

“It’s mayhem in Washington!” Weinstein shouts at one point.
The Commanders’ franchise hasn’t had much to celebrate in recent years, so Weinstein and Fletcher had every right to let it all out.
As for Daniels, he continues to live up to the hype he received as the Heisman Trophy winner with LSU in 2023 and as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Commanders are 6-2 and on top of the NFC East, seeking a first playoff appearance since 2020 and a first playoff win since 2005.
The Rookie of the Year race continues to be Daniels’ to lose. And, at this rate, he could be working his way into the MVP discussions.
