Former LSU DB Ron Brooks will looking for a new team.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday that they have released the former LSU standout. Brooks appeared in six games with the Eagles last season and recorded one fumble recovery and one pass deflection.
Brooks his entering his sixth NFL season. He has 66 tackles and eight pass deflections in 52 games with the Eagles and Buffalo Bills.

Brooks was a four-year player for LSU from 2008-11. He was part of a loaded defense in 2011 that featured DBs Eric Reid, Morris Claiborne, and Tyrann Mathieu.
Brooks posted his best season in 2011. He recorded 30 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, and two defensive TDs in helping LSU win the SEC Championship that season.
