The Honey Badger did not seem pleased with his alma mater.
Tyrann Mathieu, who has long been nicknamed The Honey Badger, couldn’t resist taking to social media as his former team, LSU, fell to UCLA 38-27 on Saturday evening. The Twitter posts were a bit erratic. Mathieu is currently a safety for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs but still takes pride in his home state school. Mathieu is from New Orleans.
Man we need a talk man.

You may be asking who Mathieu, who has also picked up another nickname while in the NFL, wants to talk to within LSU’s program. Well, The Landlord, as he’s sometimes called, is looking for anyone to help his struggling Tigers. LSU is 5-6 in their last 11 games after going 15-0 and winning a national championship in 2019.
The only think I am interested in is seeing who will step up and lead this tigers team…. That is the guy I’ll remember!!! I am looking for you going forward!

Mathieu certainly stepped up when he was LSU. The ball-hawking defensive back was the SEC Player of the Year, a consensus All-American and a Heisman Trophy finalist as he helped LSU to an SEC title in 2011.
Good news tigers is that it’s all fixable. Let’s fix it! Back to work!!!

Mathieu should be in a happier mood soon. LSU is likely to notch two straight victories as they host McNeese State and Central Michigan in the coming weeks.
