Former LSU WR Malik Nabers gives NSFW description of Giants’ performance
Former LSU wide receiver and current New York Giant Malik Nabers is not the happiest person in the world. Nabers’ team suffered another big loss on Sunday as the Giants lost 30-7 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home.
After the game, Nabers was asked what words he would use to describe his team’s performance. The star rookie went with an NSFW response, saying “soft as f—.”

Nabers added that he was “very” disappointed and “tired of going out there and losing.” The LSU product caught 6 passes for 64 yards in the blowout loss.
The rookie has been one of the few reliable pieces on the Giants’ offense. Nabers leads the team in receptions, receiving yards, and TDs. Still, the Giants fell to 2-9 with their loss on Sunday and have now lost 6 games in a row.
Even with his team among the league’s worst, Nabers has impressed in his rookie campaign. Entering Sunday, Nabers had 61 catches for 607 yards and 3 touchdowns. Nabers trails only Brian Thomas Jr. and Brock Bowers among rookies in receiving yards.
The WR came to the Giants as a 1st-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Nabers starred at LSU from 2021-23 and was a unanimous All-American and First-team All-SEC player in 2023. In 38 games with the Tigers, Nabers caught 189 passes for 3,003 yards and 21 TDs.
Nabers lost 14 games during his 3-year college career, so losing 9 games in his rookie season alone thus far has to be hard. The Giants will look to break their long losing streak on Thanksgiving Day against the Dallas Cowboys.
