Ja’Marr Chase drops another pass, sets social media abuzz with worry

Ja’Marr Chase might have a case of the yips.
The No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft didn’t play for LSU in 2020, and that might be affecting him as he returns to live game action for the Cincinnati Bengals this fall.
He has already dropped a few passes this preseason, but not to worry — his quarterback, Joe Burrow, wasn’t playing, right? Things would get better when he was catching passes from Burrow, right?
Well, on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, Chase had another drop on a pass from Burrow. This is a really bad drop, too:

It’s tough to hit a receiver any better than that, but Chase just couldn’t come down with the ball.
Naturally, that set social media abuzz with jokes and fans worrying about Chase as Week 1 quickly approaches:

Will Chase get it together for Week 1? Bengals fans are certainly nervous about their top-5 pick right now.
