Jayden Daniels and the LSU offense were awarded with a turnover at the Missouri 45-yard line and capitalized shortly after.
The LSU offense found the endzone just six plays later. Harold Perkins picked off Brady Cook to end the Missouri quarterback’s streak without an interception.
Daniels marched the offense down the field to decrease the Mizzou lead before halftime. Mason Taylor was barely covered, making it very easy for Daniels to make the throw.

It doesn’t get any easier than that often in college football. It helps when the defense gives you a shorter field to work with after forcing a turnover.
While the offense scored before halftime, many were not happy about its performance in the first half including former wideout Kayshon Boutte.
