Joe Burrow recalls hilarious Ed Orgeron crawfish story during his recruitment to LSU
LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has been making the media rounds since winning the Heisman trophy on Saturday night.
Burrow won in a landslide vote, and spent a large part of his acceptance speech emotionally detailing what LSU head coach Ed Orgeron means to his family and university.
Earlier in the week, Burrow revealed a hilarious story looking back on when that relationship with Orgeron was in its infancy, during his recruitment to LSU.
After winning the Heisman, Burrow visited popular the Barstool Sports podcast Pardon My Take, and recalled the same story.
Coach O and @Joe_Burrow10 go out for some crawfish. Restaurant is out of crawfish?
No worries, @Coach_EdOrgeron has a crawfish guy. #GeauxTigers pic.twitter.com/TQhd2OCp5a

Fitting, that the first LSU player to win a Heisman since Billy Cannon in 1959 shares a story that only adds to the legend of Ed Orgeron as LSU’s head coach.
Who knew crawfish could be such a useful recruiting tool?
