Joe Burrow spoke to the media leading up to the Super Bowl on Monday, and offered inspiring advice for kids as they increasing look to emulate the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback.
Burrow said to focus more on improving, and not sharing a workout or 2 on social media.
“Don’t have a workout and post it on Instagram the next day and then go sit on your butt the next day and everyone thinks you’re working hard but you’re not,” Burrow said. “Work in silence. … Don’t worry about all that social media stuff.”

The quarterback is a case study in continuing to work as his story will be re-told to millions this week from his days down the depth chart at Ohio State, to winning the Heisman Trophy at LSU.
Joe Burrow was asked for his advice to younger athletes. Great answer, including:
– “Focus on getting better.”
– “Don’t have a workout and then go post it on instagram and then go sit on your butt four 4 days. Work in silence.”

The Bengals behind Burrow came from 3 consecutive last-place finishes in the AFC North to reach the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1988 season. Burrow helped them deliver 3 incredible playoff wins in order to face the Los Angeles Rams in SoFi Stadium on Sunday.
