Ju’Juan Johnson, 4-star ATH from Louisiana, announces college commitment

Ju’Juan Johnson has decided to stay home. The blue-chip prospect from Lafayette, Louisiana announced Monday that he has committed to LSU.
Johnson announced his pledge to the Tigers on “The Jordy Culotta Show.” Johnson committed to Colorado on Feb. 4, 2023, but reopened his recruitment in April.

A Lafayette Christian Academy standout quarterback, Johnson is listed as measuring 5-11, 178 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Johnson is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 Louisiana recruit, No. 22 ATH and No. 267 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.
The ATH designation is for multi-position prospects. Johnson looks to be a future member of DBU. He was recruited to LSU by cornerbacks coach Robert Steeples.
Johnson committed to LSU over offers from 17 other programs. With Johnson on board, LSU now has 15 commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. His highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
