Justin Jefferson has made one of the NFL’s all-time greatest catches.

The Minnesota Vikings were trailing the Buffalo Bills 27-23 in the 4th quarter when Kirk Cousins lobbed up a prayer on 4th down. Somehow, Jefferson came down with the ball to keep Minnesota’s drive alive.

NFL Twitter went wild. Catch of the Year is often brought up for especially impressive highlight plays, but some observers say Jefferson’s catch is better than just the catch of 2022.

Jefferson ended up helping set up a defensive score. The former LSU standout made another big catch for the Vikings, setting them up with 4th-and-goal from the 1. Minnesota was unable to punch it in on offense, but recovered a fumble in the end zone on Buffalo’s 1st down, taking a 30-27 lead.

The Bills have rallied and managed to tie it 30-30 in the final seconds. Entering overtime, Jefferson has 8 catches for 156 yards and a touchdown in a thriller.
