LSU running back Leonard Fournette is really fast. Specifically, he’s the fastest player in school history to reach 3,000 yards, a mark he eclipsed during the Tigers’ 16-14 loss to Wisconsin Saturday.

Fournette entered his junior season with 2,987 yards during his first two seasons. He surpassed the 3,000-yard plateau. He finished Saturday’s game with 138 yards on 23 rushing attempts.

Fournette is currently 1,432 yards shy of Kevin Faulk’s LSU record of 4,557 set in 1998. The New Orleans native trails Faulk, Dalton Hillard and Charles Alexander for fourth in school history.
