Joe Burrow grew up in Ohio, playing for Athens High School in The Plains, Ohio, and eventually went to Ohio State.

However, things didn’t work out there, so he decided to head south as a graduate transfer, winding up at LSU.

After a win over Miami in his LSU debut, a restaurant in his hometown decided to show him some Baton Rouge-style love:

Burrow has received nothing but well-wishes and praise from the Ohio State faithful and the Buckeyes’ coaching staff, so it’s clear he’s held in high regard.

Now, he’s getting some love from his hometown, just like he’s getting plenty of love from LSU fans following his Week 1 debut.
