LSU defensive back Donte Jackson had a message for Arkansas after the Tigers defeated the Razorbacks to retain the Golden Boot trophy on Saturday in Baton Rouge.
Jackson held up a sign in a photo after the game with a simple message for the Hogs:
“Maybe next year!”
LSU struggled with Arkansas for a half. The game was tied 7-7 at the halftime break. Eventually, though, the Bayou Bengals pulled away for a 33-10 victory.
The Tigers moved to 7-3 on the season, while Arkansas fell to a measly 4-6. LSU has now won two in a row over the Razorbacks after Les Miles-coached teams dropped a pair of games to Bret Bielema’s squad in consecutive years in 2014 and 2015.
Ed Orgeron is 2-0 against the Hogs.
