New LSU head coach Ed Orgeron, who has served as the team’s interim coach since Les Miles was fired in September, didn’t wait long before making a change to his staff.

After landing the full-time gig on Saturday, Coach O relieved special teams coach Bradley Dale Peveto of his duties, according to The Advocate.

Peveto was hired by Miles before the 2014 season and also worked for the Tigers from 2005-2008.

Orgeron released a statement about his decision:

“We appreciate Bradley Dale and the work he put into this program. However, at this time we have decided to move in a different direction with our special teams.”

Peveto’s replacement has not yet been named by Orgeron.
