Report: LSU coach finalist for Tulane head coaching job

LSU assistant coach Frank Wilson is among the finalists to become head coach at Tulane, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported Saturday.

Wilson is the Tigers’ running backs coach and recruiting coordinator.

Oklahoma offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich and Baylor offensive coordinator Kendal Briles also are candidates, the Times-Picayune reported.

Tulane fired Curtis Johnson, who went 15-34 in four seasons, on Nov. 28.
