LSU made its pick for the Biletnikoff fairly obvious, to no one’s surprise.

Malik Nabers has been nothing short of outstanding this year and LSU made a post about him explaining why he should win the award.

The post simply mentioned how Nabers is the nation’s leader in receiving yards (1,546) and 2nd in the country in touchdown catches (14), which is no easy feat.

SEC players have taken home the Biletnikoff Award a lot recently. Pitt’s Jordan Addison won the award in 2021. The other 4 winners over the last 5 seasons have all been from the SEC.

Jalin Hyatt (2022), DeVonta Smith (2020), Ja’Marr Chase (2019), and Jerry Jeudy (2018) are the most recent winners from the SEC.

Nabers has made a solid case for himself to take home the award. In his last game, he put up 122 yards receiving with 2 touchdowns as LSU held off Texas A&M for a 42-30 win.

The finalists will be announced on Tuesday with the winner being named on Dec. 8 at The Home Depot College Football Awards.

LSU (9-3, 6-2 SEC) is awaiting its bowl destination following a 12-point win over Texas A&M to close out the regular season.
