Based on NFL production in recent years, LSU has a strong claim to the “Wide Receiver U” title.
Odell Beckham Jr., Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson are now the 3 fastest players to reach 2,000 receiving yards in their careers.
Fewest games to reach 2,000 career rec yards (since 1970)

Chase went over the 2,000 mark in Sunday’s 35-17 Bengals win against the Atlanta Falcons. Chase entered the game with 1,930 yards through the first 23 games of his career. Sunday, Chase had 8 catches for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Beckham is currently a free agent without a team, but Jefferson and Chase continue to produce at a high level. More career milestones are almost certainly on the way for the Tiger teammates from the 2019 national championship team.
